Under the direction of Coach Dan Willis, the Port City Pirates offer a quality wrestling program that helps build a youngster's self-esteem, confidence and ability. Sanctioned by and competing in the AAU, the Pirates play in four to five local tournaments annually. The Pirates compete and practice at the Laney Wrestling Facility in Northchase near Laney High School, and welcome wrestlers in grades pre-K through 8th (boys and girls). The cost for the season, which runs from November to March, is $95 and includes two practices per week, AAU membership card, T-shirt and entry fee for local tournaments.
