Beginning the first Wednesday in April
and continuing every Wednesday through mid-December, Poplar Grove's
Farmers' Market offers fresh North Carolina fruit, vegetables,
plants, herbs, flowers, eggs, cheeses, meats, seafood and honey. The
market's mission is to educate the public on local farm products and
practices, promote the use of local products, and serve the
community through programming and activities. The market is held on
the lovely grounds of the historic Poplar Grove Plantation and is
open from 8 AM until 1 PM.
