The Pirate Lounge in the King Neptune Restaurant is as lively as its proprietor, Bernard Carroll, who did the research to accurately identify all the pirate flags hanging in the room. It's the kind of decor you might expect of someone who'd rather be sailing, and, as a salt should, Carroll places importance on rum. His "Rum Bar" features some 19 premium rums from around the world, including Gosling's and Appleton Estate Jamaican Rum. Microbrewed and imported beers are always in stock, and an inexpensive Pub Grub menu offers plenty of quality munchies (available for take-out). The lounge is open every day and has all ABC permits.
