Roofing
Thinking of re-roofing your house? Do your
homework. Sun, salt air, wind and storms necessitate having a sound roof
on your coastal home, particularly if you're near the ocean. In recent
years, metal roofs have become increasingly popular in this area.
Properly installed, a metal roof should last as long as the house,
completely sealing out water and surviving high winds. Metal is
resistant to fire, mildew, insects and rot. But maybe you prefer
shingles, which are made of wood (shakes), asphalt, laminated
fiberglass, clay or plastic tile, or slate, each with its own merits.
Hurricane clips are required on new home construction and strongly
advised for structures on or close to the beach. Unless you're
experienced at roofing, you probably should not tackle the job yourself.
We have roofing specialists to do it for you, but please research
potential companies or individuals before you hire them. Get references,
go to look at work they've done and check them out with the Better
Business Bureau of Coastal Carolina. All Seasons Roofing Inc.,
