This large and friendly campground is located
on the mainland side of the Intracoastal Waterway in Surf City.
Campsites range from full hookups and camper/pop-up sites to tent sites
with fire rings and some with shade. Campground amenities include a
swimming pool, a boat ramp, a pier and fish-cleaning station, pay
phones, picnic tables, a dump station, laundry facilities, limited
groceries, a bathhouse, an arcade and a sandwich grill with hand-dipped
ice cream. Horseshoes, beach bingo on Friday nights and Saturday
afternoons, a children's playground, holiday activities and
interdenominational church services are some of the activities offered
in season at the campground. The interior roads are paved, and it is
open year round. Old Ferry Marina
Campground Old Ferry Marina Campground makes it
convenient to fish and camp from the same property and is close enough to
the beach for the sun worshiper. Returning campers claim they keep coming
back because they enjoy the friendship of the owners and the other campers
and fishermen. Full hook-ups are offered on a monthly or seasonal basis.
Besides fishing, amenities include a bathhouse.
Virginia Creek

located on a large tract of waterfront land that has been in the King
family for 200 years. With pull-through sites, full hookups and tent
sites, there is a spot for every type of camper. Amenities include hot

campground is close to restaurants, shopping and the beach. Virginia
