Here is the test:   Susan, Sam, Jay and Melissa will perform a traffic test on these icons.  The test begins on Saturday and goes through Monday.

Melissa to do her test from the office.  Susan, Jay and Sam to do theirs from home.

Debbie will place Google Analytics code on this page to track the number of times this page opens on each of these three days.  She will also place on-click and on-Display code on each icon.  She will also place Google code on both of the Sage Jumps.   One jump page will be for us to simply click through to, and another will be for us to click thru to and to interact with Sage's site. NOTE form Debbie: Interacting with Sage's site will have no effect on our Google stats because the interaction is on THEIR page in a frame on our jump page. If they have Google Analytics on their site, any activity we do on their pages will be logged in their own Google Analytics account, and tracked like any other pageview on their site.  Furthermore, it is impossible to distinguish the pageviews induced by our testing in their Google stats because Google will track all pageviews in the same manner.

With this test we will be able to compare how Google analytics compares with the log file based method of web tracking that we use.

We can compare our Webtrends/WTR method with Google Analytics.  We can compare our Google figures with Sage's. ANOTHER NOTE FROM DEBBIE: Sorry - there is no way to compare stats for reasons stated in my first note.
