Weekly and Long-Term Cottage Rentals Tips

Be sure to know the times of check-in and check-out. Some rentals may allow early check-ins or late check-outs for a fee, but this usually must be requested well in advance of your stay.

Spring and fall are exquisite at the Crystal Coast. With less humidity in the air, the colors of the coast are incredibly vibrant. The weather is temperate, the beaches have fewer visitors, the restaurants are less hurried, and the roads are less crowded.

North Carolina law bans grilling on the decks and balconies of rental properties. In Carteret County, strong winds can make grilling near cottages a dangerous activity. It is always best to check with your rental agent to find out where to use the grill or review your rental policy for details.
