Wedding and Reception Locations New Bern has many beautiful
old churches that provide exceptional locations for your wedding. A list
of churches is available in our
New Bern Worship chapter. You will need to call for more information
as each church has its own policies and fees concerning weddings. Other
sites are listed below. Attmore-Oliver House Looking for a beautiful and
historic location for your wedding? The 1790 Attmore-Oliver House is
available for special occasions, and its size allows for large weddings
and receptions (and for parties and business functions as well). Call
the New Bern Historical Society at the number above for fees and other
information. (Note: The street address is listed as Broad Street, but
the parking entrance is at 512 Pollock Street.) New Bern Riverfront Convention Center With its 12,000 square feet in
the Colonial Capital Ballroom downtown, along with smaller spaces
upstairs in the Tryon Rooms, Berne Room and Craven Boardroom, and a
beautiful waterfront veranda, the New Bern Riverfront Convention Center
has the flexibility to host groups from 50 to 1,350. Its proximity to
three hotels and numerous bed-and-breakfast inns downtown makes it a
good location for weddings and reunions with a number of out-of-town
guests. The center also maintains a preferred caterers list, making the
hunt for that service a bit less stressful. Sheraton New Bern Experience your dream wedding
at the Sheraton New Bern, located in historic downtown on the scenic
Trent River. The experienced staff will ensure that every detail of your
special day is handled with creativity and ease. For your out-of-town
guests, the Sheraton offers special group rates on accommodations that
feature many amenities, including the signature Sheraton Sweet
Sleeper(SM) Bed. The Sheraton's flexible banquet space and beautiful
outdoor space plays perfect host to ceremonies, receptions or bridal
luncheons. Contact the wedding coordinator for assistance. Inns of New Bern Downtown New Bern's seven
bed-and-breakfast inns offer unique settings for small weddings, bridal
showers, honeymoons and overnight accommodations for wedding guests. See
our
New Bern Bed and Breakfasts chapter for names and complete
descriptions of the inns.
