Charlotte Region Tips
A
driver with more loft (at least 11 degrees) is better for the average
golfer. You'll sacrifice a little distance but it will be easier to get the
ball off the ground.
If
you drive into trouble, don't try to hit an impossible shot to save
par--you'll likely miss the shot and see your score balloon. Instead, do
whatever you have to to get your ball safely back in the fairway, and start
playing for bogey.
If
your group is one of the first on the course, it's all the more important to
practice fast play.
If
you've made the decision to play a lot and try to improve your game, it's
worth spending a little extra money to have a professional fit your clubs to
your height, girth and swing.
